Edo's piece for this show "InASense" pronounced innocence! Innocence within the fact that Stanley was found innocent of all charges. There's a certain innocence Stanley has on his face in his mugshot which is the main focal point of the art piece. InASense plays on the lines of feeling "in a sense" of disbelief and that someone would put a stranger through months of trouble and chaos, all because of false accusations, just because they're looking for a huge payday. Each piece in the puzzle will have a different attribute of the details Stanley expressed. The goal is to bring his struggles to the light and define how the justice system failed another innocent Black Man in America. InASense will embody parts of is story through color. Infinite!
Edo is the future. A self-taught multidisciplinary digital artist, illustrator, fashion designer and model. Born Eddie Santana White, this dynamic young man has taken the Chicago art industry by storm. Designing for Leaders 1354 has been a dream for Edo since he was a student at Hyde Park Career Academy. Influenced by notable artists like Kanye West and Kid Cudi, Edo describes his work as imaginative and futuristic. Only two years into his profession, Edo has already created a buzz across the Midwest as he continues to build and grow as a young significant artist. Among other ventures, Edo has launched a clothing line called Emperion, he is the co-founder of a graphics design and screen printing company called [blankcanvas], and recently the co-owner of Escape Studios Chicago. He's appeared on ABC News, FOX32, Chicago Creatives, Champagne & Snarks, and sitting live on the Living with Sam Graham Show.
With the little free time he does have, Edo spends mentoring young men, speaking across the city and teaching basic graphics at some of the local high schools and churches. Edo is passionate about creating art and opportunities for those around him. His ultimate goal is to one day open a technological advanced art school that helps inner city youths achieve their greatest potential. For him, its all about the kids.
