Experience the story of Stan Stallworth. Witness the works of art that blossom from his mind. We bring to you a creative vision from 40 artists around the world. Poised to portray a series of events steeped in scandal, false accusations, incarceration, and ultimately triumph. Let these images bring focus and light to a world that has been so often unfair to men of color. Join our exploration of American Justice, to ask the question: IS SHE REALLY BLIND?
As we artists explore this query, we will do so through artistic expression. Most of this original art has been created specifically for this exhibition. Other pieces of it have been garnered through his love of collecting art and his affinity for artists and their craft, which affinity he did not lose as he battled through difficult life and health issues.
This exploration is not a salacious tell-all in any form of fashion, especially as it relates to the claimant. That is not what Stan's life has been about. Rather, this provocative expose' will bring attention to, and provoke discussion around, the broken criminal justice system in America, the bigoted skewed lenses of Americans, and elitist, capitalistic-driven corporate values (values with which Stallworth wrestled throughout his career in law).
